  1. Hi Laszlo!
Great Podcast series! I’m coming in a little late in the game, as I was just informed about it from a Michaels coworker. But, I’m starting from the beginning and working my way towards the most current episode. Coming from a Cantonese family, I’ve often caught the name Li Ka-shing in conversion or brought up on a TVB show. I was glad to learn a little bit more about him today. I’m looking forward to listening my way through to catch up!! Thank you!

    • Glad you like it so far Amelia! I just told Patty about it on Monday. I’ve actually recorded a few episodes over the years from Irving. I have a multi-part series covering the history of Hong Kong. You might like that. There’s also one on Sir Run Run Shaw.

  2. First off I love the podcasts and want to thank you for all the work you’ve put in. Just wondering what happened to episode 12, 21, 43, 54, 74, and 100 as I can’t find them in the archive.

    • Hi Neil: Those six episodes were all these lousy Q&A and BS sessions where I ran my mouth off about various banal matters. I made the decision one day not to clutter up all the content with this chatter of a non-historical nature. Maybe one day I will recycle those episode numbers with new content. Sorry to keep you wondering for so long. You didn’t miss anything, don’t worry.
